While I believe there should be order in the place where the people of God assemble, the modern church seems to more of a place where the congregants have been institutionalized and trained to the point, they are dependent of leadership for all they need to appear godly.
Where were you when the church doors were open? That’s a question that makes the “AWOL” church member blush with guilt because of what others may be thinking. Somehow church attendance seems to correlate with your “spiritual maturity and depth” in the Lord; I say that sarcastically.
Modesty seems to be old fashion and outdated. Men, women and churchgoers alike, are highly offended at the hint of anyone not approving of their seductive attire.

The building is not the church, the people are the church. The church is never abandoned, foreclosed on, and it certainly cannot burn down. Like homes, the church building is seized, burned by fires and damages by flood waters.
Fear of the unknown; Imaging that, fear of what you may or may not encounter in a new church. Gone are the days of ministry teams knocking on doors and seldom will you get a flyer left at your door inviting you to worship services.
