Paul said that he wasn’t “ashamed” of it, but there are few people of God that can explain what it is. By default, most believers say the gospel of Jesus Christ, is simply the Death, Burial and His resurrection. But how is the Good News (simple definition of gospel) good news to someone who is a condemned man or who has everything that money could buy? Or, is not even aware of their need of redemption?
Often when people hear about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ it is received with no sense of urgency or consideration that any minute Jesus Christ will return as Judge and not as savior. The Kingdom of God will show suddenly and many will not be able to enter into it.
Seldom is the message echoed as clearly stated by John the Baptist and Jesus Christ Himself, “Repent For the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand!”.
