The word love is used so much in our society that I often wonders if people really understand the word or the actions that should follow the meaning; not that I am an expert or an authority on the subject.
Our modern dictionaries define love as:
1. A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2. A feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
3. Sexual passion or desire.
4. Affectionate concern for the well-being of others: the love of one’s neighbor. Read more on Love is what it does….

Have you ever wondered the purpose of fruit? What’s it for? Fruits like, beautiful red apples, ripe grapes, melons and delicious strawberries. The one thing they all have in common is seeds; seeds are vital and key for the reproduction of these fruit bearing plants; as we remember from our science 101 classes. It seems that believers will try many things to please God; they want Salvation so they can make it into Heaven; going to church, singing in the choir or being an usher or in the ministry. The truth is that none of your acts or attempts to be “right” (Isaiah 64.6) with God will work! No matter how devout, pious, religious, mega church affiliated of self sanctified.

I can only imaging how fast your mind did a rewind to the last time you heard those words mentioned in the title. It was probably this past Sunday when you walked into the Church (after not being there for about 4 or more months).
