I couldn’t resist the opportunity to root for the saints on this particular day. I realize that many of you might not be sports fans but I wanted to acknowledged the fact that we contend with many issues during the day but in the end we win and before it starts, we’ve won because of the team we’re on. We have an amazing head coach and only one referee whose constantly doing an outstanding job no matter what the play is.
Yes it may be superbowl Sunday and one of the playing teams happens to be the Saints. The saints that I am refering to in today’s post are the pople of God. While you may be rooting for your favorite football team, daily I’m rooting for the people of God that endure the harships and difficulties that we face every day. Be encouraged and of God cheer, Jesus Christ has overcome!
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, (Jude 1:24) KJV
Go Saints of God!

Some days are definitely better that some. It’s great to be able to call on someone when you have a problem, especially when they can be right there to aide you. In the busy lives of believers, when trouble seems to show up, believers can always call on another church member to pray with them. In many cases, church members will go the extra mile and come to you and provide comfort if and when needed. Some church members will immediately call for the pastor of the church and like most pastors, he will be right there. If someone had to go to the hospital, they call the pastor; if someone goes to jail, you call the pastor; the electric company is outside your house to disconnect the power, call the pastor and the praying saints.
At what point in life do we (as believers) deal with the problem that life brings us? When do we make a stand for our self? Somethings are preventable, as for the problems and circumstances beyond our control, I believe God steps in to comfort and help us.
What if God answered our every beckoned call? What would we learn? Read more on If Life Had No Problems What would you learn?…

Trust in God will require one to STAND although everything around you is shaken! Yes, the pun was intended to illustrate a point. The people of Haiti experiences an aftershock a week after their initial earth quake. We read the news articles and have more than likely seen footage of people praying and thanking God for sparing their lives. Preachers were encouraging the people to not loose faith and a week later they are hit with another quake. Read more on A Made Up Mind…
