I’m almost sure you thought I was going to chime in on the news of the past week of a young man caught up in much controversy, shame and humiliation. Its been one amazing week for high profile celebrates mainly two from the past week. People from all over the world I’m sure waited to hear the public apology from Tiger Woods. Many people who idolized Tiger Woods felt let down and they were highly disappointed in the Pro Golfer, even his mother displayed her disappointment in her son.
Many of the comments made by people about Tiger were comments of being disappointed and how they will never look up to him again and so on. After listening to the many comments of people, I could only think about how can we place any person on a pedestal and forget they are fallible and prone to making poor and selfish decisions just as we are. How many of use are willing to make a public apology for the things we done in secret? For many of the people who expressed their disappointment, how can anybody take the moral high road when there are many us who have done or even thought about worse.
