While more and more people lose their jobs and the threat of unemployment looms on the horizon for many other, people are stressed and equally discouraged. What can one do and where does one turn in times like these? Churches seem to have their share of problems and it seems that even many believers are loosing hope and forgetting God. Its obvious that you cant turn to the local city, state or federal government for help, they are cutting budgets, programs and laying off people too.
Try going to a local church to get an encouraging word and it will cost you a tithe or special offering to get answers or prayer. Here is something for FREE, People are looking for a source of strength and place they run to in the time of need. The one thing not affected by the recession or hard times is Gods Word! Take a look at Psalm 46:1.
If you need a very present help in the time of trouble…That is what God Is! Try turning off the new and start looking up! Up unto the hill from where your help comes, it comes from the Lord who made the heaven and the earth. Since you cant trust in the preacher, the prophet or the local trust, put your trust in God! Time have become so difficult, its difficult to confide in or go to the local church because of what we know about those in the church. No, that’s not judging, its accepting the reality that many in the church are wolves in sheep clothing.
What even your trouble is, focus on what God is, while you are in the midst of trouble..He Is Our Refuge And Strength, A Very Present Help In Trouble!; That is Who God Is!

What is Salvation? Perhaps the easiest definition would be this: Salvation is a condition or state of the soul. Read more on What is Salvation – Are You Saved?…

Members will sit in the church and have a valid question about a practice or a something taught, but will look the other way instead of asking because they don’t want to appear to rock the boat. There is nothing wrong with asking questions, especially the tough ones, there in nothing wrong with wanting to know why.
Now, here is the twist, if we would study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needs not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth ( 2 Timothy 2:15 ), you would have your answer and you probably would not need to ask.
Something to think about.

I couldn’t resist the opportunity to root for the saints on this particular day. I realize that many of you might not be sports fans but I wanted to acknowledged the fact that we contend with many issues during the day but in the end we win and before it starts, we’ve won because of the team we’re on. We have an amazing head coach and only one referee whose constantly doing an outstanding job no matter what the play is.
Yes it may be superbowl Sunday and one of the playing teams happens to be the Saints. The saints that I am refering to in today’s post are the pople of God. While you may be rooting for your favorite football team, daily I’m rooting for the people of God that endure the harships and difficulties that we face every day. Be encouraged and of God cheer, Jesus Christ has overcome!
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, (Jude 1:24) KJV
Go Saints of God!
