Of course this is something no leader wants. But, church members could manage to entrench themselves in being satisfied with complacency so that its the norm. Maybe you call it something else ( a dry spell), but if you have the same 25 to 39 members for the past 3 years….something is obviously the matter so many activities going on in many churches, members are satisfied with the routine of going to church, singing in the choir, showing up for prayer, they become bored with the routine itself. The Unpardonable Sin, What is it, Who Can Commit it, What Can Be Done? I am often asked questions about the Unpardonable Sin and Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. In this article I am going to give an answer that will take away both doubts and your excuses. In order to do that I we wish to look at the biblical text that has given rise to this errant and atrocious doctrine. It has to do with Jesus’ comments to the Pharisees about their spiritual status and one of the erroneous doctrines that has emerged as a result of those comments. I have noticed, through the years, that God’s people are always looking for this so-called unpardonable sin in the Scriptures–something people can do that will put them out of favor with God from which they can never recover–an unforgivable sin against the Holy Ghost. The truth of the matter is that there is no unpardonable sin in the Bible. This doctrine is the product of overworked imaginations, fearful minds, self-righteous attitudes, people trying to get attention and pity by being pathetic and negative, and misunderstandings of these biblical passages. The body of Christ is made up of many members. The church, is made up of many born again believers of whom God have given gifts and talents to. These gifts and talents are not for entertainment purposes, but they are for serving the body of Christ. Do all members have the same office? No, do all have the gift of teaching or preaching? No. Each members of the body of Christ has a function and a purpose. We often hear our functions and purposes referred to as gifts.
Every now and them, I think many believers get so caught up on the or gifts, they think their gift is far superior than anyone. The believer that prophesies will need to partake of the gift of healing or benefit from someones giving. In Romans the 12th chapter, Paul urges the saints at Rome (Romans 1:7) to present them selves as a living and holy sacrifice (Romans 12:1) Read more on Wait on it….

We often limit ourselves with erroneous thinking; for instance it is popular to think as well as believe that ministry exists within the four walls of the church and consists of:
- Singing in the choir.
- Ushering
- Play an instrument.
- Service in an official capacity or what ever you do within the four walls of the church.
