praying
When the day seems dark and problems abound…I pray.
When friends have left me and the church seems too far away…I pray.
When the days are long and I need counsel and find none…I pray.
When an emergency arises early in the morning or I need to make a decision now! I pray.
When I need to pray…If I have to pray, I pray just because God is good! Read more on I Pray…

You don’t have to be in a church to pray, what if its too far away? You don’t have to be on your knees to pray, you can do it standing up, or siting down and even from your bed before you open your eyes. Its the position of your heart that matters. You can pray with outstretched hands or hands down at your side. A prayer can be said with your eyes open (this helps if your driving), most prefer to have them closed to avoid distractions. Some pray out loud, some find a quiet place, prayer is not complicated, you don’t need fancy words and you can pray anytime in anyplace; you don’t have to schedule a meeting for it either.
We can get so caught up in attending prayer meetings and vigils that we forget to spend some alone time with God. When you have the desire to pray, but your are short of words, that’s okay too, just be silent and think about the goodness of God, take that moment of silence before Him.

Tragic news has a was of uniting people to help. Unfortunately, its a away for organizations to get some free advertising. Remember Haiti? Its not strange how things and events can somewhat fade into obscurity.
To all of our readers, remember those in need of prayer when and while you pray. I know that the Country of Haiti could use tons of financial relief and medical help, if all those reading this post would pass this on to other believers to continue to pray for these people, I believe we will begin to hear good reports coming out of this country and people will once again remember Haiti.

Survivors and family suffer from the pain of not knowing. People are looking for family members that are not accounted for. As search and rescue missions are launched to search for people still missing, those on the ground in Haiti fear the next few days when supplies run out. As the saints of God continue to pray, look for and expect to see a great outpouring of what God will do when we/you join forces in prayer. Read more on The Pain Of Not Knowing…
