What a great feeling to be in the company of friends or in the fellowship of the believers and hear encouraging words. Believers will embrace each other, firm hand shakes are exchanged among the men and the women will express their joy at seeing another friend or member they haven’t seen in awhile. Timing is everything, I’m sure that’s a statement familiar to most people. When the time was right, or in the fullness of time God sent His Son. When God created man, it wasn’t until He formed and had set in place, the element needed to sustain life. God simply has an order about Him, He is a God of timing and a God or Order.
The steps of a righteous man are ordered by God. What about the unrighteous man? is it possible for God to have His hand in ordering, directing or influencing the actions of others or events? This is not to say that God will, force His will of desire on you or make you do something you don’t want to do. Others may call it fate or faith.
Believers are often frustrated when they fast, pray and call out to God for answers and nothing seems to happen when and as we desire. Would God be God if He answers, moves and intervenes when WE want and need Him to? It was can manage to wait on the Lord and be of good courage, will He really strengthen your heart? According to Gods word… yes. Our ability to wait and trust seems to be our short fall. When God told Abraham he would have a child in his old age, in his impatience he decided to move the timing forward by sleeping with Hagar. Although life may bring many of stressful and difficult circumstances all we can truly do is wait on the Lord, be of good courage and allow Him to strengthen our hearts.
In all thy ways, if we would acknowledge Him, the word says, “He will direct our paths”, Gods directions and His timing is impeccable.

The church is not a place, its a people. The company or gathering of these people, in a place is called a congregation and if these people congregate in a particular place…that place is not called the
church. We live in a time where words have little meaning and church folk are quick to grab a sound byte of words spoken across the pulpit and use these sames words to have some profound meaning. I had an experience today when a gentlemen asked me if I could help him with some gas to get to work and some food for his family. I could definitely help him with the gas because that was the logical thing to do…he needed to get to work on Monday and the rest of the week. Even when giving to people in need, you still have to exercise a little common sense, taking into consideration the time we live in, it is true, people will say almost anything to get something for nothing.
Ministry is about service and if your ministry is confined to serving within the four walls of the church, because its safe and you get noticed, your ministry may not be a ministry but a church activity. People everywhere are hurting and struggling financially so, to the point they need food, gas to get to work and medicine to combat sickness. I find that many of these people are members of local, well to do churches here in the State Of Georgia. When church members have to resort to asking for help at your local Kroger Groceries Store parking lot, something is wrong somewhere with our churches and the institute of organized religion.
