The short answer to this question deserves an explanation. But, the short answer is, you can not!
When I would hear believers ask the question “How can I live Holy” I listen so that I can get more information from them. Wow… The church has issues with this and it’s no wonder their members are asking questions about living holy. I don’t have a monopoly on living Holy, but I do know that I can not get caught up in performing a list of tasks to show that I am Holy, that’s not how things work.
God is not impressed or moved by our talent in being obedient to a list of rules. The children of Israel had a cloud to lead them by day and a pillar of fire for the night while in wilderness and yet, they had issues in living right.
When a person is asking how to live Holy, I often wonder why they do not know that is written in the Holy Scriptures. Jesus Christ Himself told His disciples how the Holy Sprit would teach them and remind them. When you have the Sprit of God dwelling in you, leading and guiding you, no list of things will help you to please Him. Living Holy seams to be synonymous with pleasing God.
Doing or not doing things, is not what pleases God, faith is what pleases Him (Hebrews 11:6). You do not do things to be Holy, because you are Holy, there are things you will not say or do because of Gods Sprit in you. When it comes to living Holy, who’s leading you? Are you being lead and directed by Gods Sprit? Or, is it you following rules of the church and a few extra things you throw in.

A new series of commercials can be seen on TV, happy people talking about who they are and stating the religious affiliation. I think it’s cool, you see the obvious diversity, sincerity, realness and the seemingly realism of the People and their families portrayed in these commercials.
I had a moment of wondering why, one of the fastest growing denominations in the world, C.O.G.I.C could not attract, mentor or retain as members many of the people in these commercials. I can’t remember seeing any COGIC commercials in my lifetime. Read more on I’m a Mormon!…

Now that I have your attention, before you dismiss this article as blasphemous read on to understand my statement. I PETER 1:15-16 states the following:
-But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16: for it is written:
“Be holy, because I am holy.” Read more on The Problem with Holiness…

Two Religions?
Paul writing to the Galatians tells us that there are people that want to desperately pervert the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:6) If you take a look at the world, the majority has a connection with the name “Jesus Christ.” But is their “Jesus Christ” the same as the Biblical Jesus Christ. How do we know what Jesus someone serves whether it is a false “Jesus” or the true Son of God? Read more on Only Two Categories of Religions in the World…
