Things can be very frustrating from time to time. It’s amazing how trials and difficulties seem to drive us from God and Prayer instead of to God in Prayer. It seems the guilt is overwhelming and that God is quite upset with us for not attending church and praying as we should.
Believer, God is not mad at you, in fact He has not left you! He’s waiting for you to recognize that you can not Live for Him on your own, you need to acknowledge the Help and the guide He sent to you by way of His Son Jesus Christ!
God said “Never will I leave you, Never Will I Forsake you”! (Hebrews 13:5-6) Your not alone, through the hard times, the good and the bad, He is right there!

While more and more people lose their jobs and the threat of unemployment looms on the horizon for many other, people are stressed and equally discouraged. What can one do and where does one turn in times like these? Churches seem to have their share of problems and it seems that even many believers are loosing hope and forgetting God. Its obvious that you cant turn to the local city, state or federal government for help, they are cutting budgets, programs and laying off people too.
Try going to a local church to get an encouraging word and it will cost you a tithe or special offering to get answers or prayer. Here is something for FREE, People are looking for a source of strength and place they run to in the time of need. The one thing not affected by the recession or hard times is Gods Word! Take a look at Psalm 46:1.
If you need a very present help in the time of trouble…That is what God Is! Try turning off the new and start looking up! Up unto the hill from where your help comes, it comes from the Lord who made the heaven and the earth. Since you cant trust in the preacher, the prophet or the local trust, put your trust in God! Time have become so difficult, its difficult to confide in or go to the local church because of what we know about those in the church. No, that’s not judging, its accepting the reality that many in the church are wolves in sheep clothing.
What even your trouble is, focus on what God is, while you are in the midst of trouble..He Is Our Refuge And Strength, A Very Present Help In Trouble!; That is Who God Is!

Living the Christian life is more than attending a service, paying tithes, raising an offering, planning the next Pastor and Wife anniversary, selling chicken dinners and going to the Holy Convocation. These activities are done at the expense of relationships and we camouflage it by saying this is ministry, this is service unto the Lord.

Once in awhile you might pray, once in awhile you might tell someone that you love them, once in awhile you might visit someone who is sick and once in awhile you might call them on the phone. Once in awhile you might care and once in awhile you might not, once in awhile you might share a special moment with a loved one or once in awhile you forget about them.
