Salvation – Is a Person Really Saved When They Believe?

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

How many times have you been heard that a person is saved when they believe in Jesus? In church we often learn that Christian salvation happens when and because someone believes in Jesus. Is this really true?

While most Christians probably hold to the idea that a person is saved when they believe in Jesus, there are others who hold to the idea that something more than faith is required. In other words, you must believe and have some sort of good works in order for you sins to be forgiven. Read more »

What Is Fellowship With God?

The essence of our Christian walk is directly associated with the fellowship with God. As God is light, as in the natural world and material life depend on light, so all spiritual life and growth must depend on God (written in the bible,”in whom there is no darkness at all.”)

Being Led by the Spirit

1 Corinthians 2:9. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

15. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

16. For “Who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. Read more »

While studying, meditating on and writing the article, Unseen Hope, I came across a disturbing fact that I thought was worth addressing separately. I’d attempted to include it or make it a part of the Unseen Hope article, but it was difficult to do without changing the original intent of the article, which was to write about biblical hope, and why it’s not a material, perishable or tangible thing. But rather immaterial, spiritual and eternal.

That is, just as the Romans 8:24-25 passage says, “…hope that is seen is not hope.” In essence, biblical hope is spiritual and unseen. Not something we perceive with our natural senses. Read more »
