I recall during the first two years of my salvation, I frequently went out street witnessing with a few friends. One night in particular we were outside an alternative dance club late at night where we spoke to some young adults. The Spirit of God was so intensely upon me, I was like a blazing firebrand. A young man to whom we were witnessing accused me of being on cocaine because my eyes were so bright and penetrating. It doesn’t always feel good and this weight will can often leave your feeling lonely and unappreciated,but you are obviously strong enough to carry it and for some reason God has entrusted you with it. It may be teaching a Sunday school class or your Pastorate of the people God had trusted you with. Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry, don’t let greed and the intoxicating effects of praise distract you.
