1 Corinthians 2:9. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

10. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

11. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

13. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

It doesn’t always feel good and this weight will can often leave your feeling lonely and unappreciated,but you are obviously strong enough to carry it and for some reason God has entrusted you with it. It may be teaching a Sunday school class or your Pastorate of the people God had trusted you with.  Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry, don’t let greed and the intoxicating effects of praise distract you. Preach the word, be instant in season and out of season, exhort and rebuke when necessary. Read more »

Giving up and walking away from your faith is the easiest thing to do.  Think about it, your frustrated and it seems that no one cares nor do they understand. When you go to the church  the counselor really doesn’t connect with what your saying and just offers you a few bible scriptures and tells you your problem is,  not enough prayer and you don’t attend enough services.

The world is full of problems, the church has problems, the members have problems and everyone in the church you speak to  says “I’m blessed of the Lord” when you ask  “how are you today.”

All is not lost, God knows what your feeling and what your going through. Don’t take my word for it, look at what David wrote in  Psalm 139.

When you have done all that you can do, maybe its time to give the situation over to God. Continue to stand, don’t give up!  A lot easier said than done right? Of course, if living a life in Christ was that easy and you did not encounter opposition, where would the growth be?  What would you learn?  The need to depend on God and His strength would not be necessary if it were that easy.

What good is a test if the material was so easy, you could pass without a challenge or without having to pick up a book? A plant will encounter opposition in growing.  Soldiers endure the hardness in basic training because it will aide them in surviving to fight yet another day. The training in needed to help them endure the ever changing hostile environments and the demands placed on them in  combat. Read more »
