Prayer, anywhere, anytime.
You don’t have to be in a church to pray, what if its too far away? You don’t have to be on your knees to pray, you can do it standing up, or siting down and even from your bed before you open your eyes. Its the position of your heart that matters. You can pray with outstretched hands or hands down at your side. A prayer can be said with your eyes open (this helps if your driving), most prefer to have them closed to avoid distractions. Some pray out loud, some find a quiet place, prayer is not complicated, you don’t need fancy words and you can pray anytime in anyplace; you don’t have to schedule a meeting for it either.
We can get so caught up in attending prayer meetings and vigils that we forget to spend some alone time with God. When you have the desire to pray, but your are short of words, that’s okay too, just be silent and think about the goodness of God, take that moment of silence before Him.

I’m in such agreement /w this, just this morning I took time to consult the Father about my situation. No holds barred just me and Him, me in my birthday suit
… I think you get the idea, Paul wrote ” pray without ceasing” 1Th 5:17. In summation: Pro 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Religion has taken prayer and turned it into something difficult. We have prayer meeting (and there is nothing wrong with them) and we have prayer services. I prayer every time I think about it. Many times I will pray before I goto bed, after I’m in the bed, while in the shower (thanking God for the provisions of warm water and a house to shower in). Sometime we forget to pray and if you do, its no problem just start. People will try to measure their level of spirituality by the quantity of prayer, I’m glad scripture says to pray without ceasing, if their was a number or quotas of prayers to attain, those that meet the quota will probable stop.
