I believe there is a time for everything. I won’t try and quote the entire passage in Ecclesiastes 3 that states there a time for everything under the sun, a time to live, a time to die, a time to embrace a a time to refrain from embracing. The rest you can look up.
Some believers with good intentions, don’t realize, there is a time to preach and a time to refrain from preaching when a person needs a trusted counselor or guide otherwise called a mentor. It seems no one has the time for mentoring; preaching and breathing out thunder and lightning from the heavens seems to be common for those dedicated to church membership.
When a believer strays, who guides them back on track? Rather than preach them away from the presence of God, why not restore them? If it’s one thing about God, restoration that’s ignited by the Holy Spirit is an welcome event. When church goers and the religious get in Gods way, they will preach to the individual, often driving them away. When a brother or a sister in Christ, is overtaken in a fault, ye (we or you) which are spiritual, should restore such a one in the sprit of meekness.
Being a trusted guide or a counselor can be an effective means in restoring a brother or sister in Christ. Trust me, the one overtaken in a fault, more than likely knows it and they are probably having difficulty finding their way home, they also know what sin is. How refreshing it is to know that in spite of your sin, God still loves and cares about you. So much so, He sent His Son into this world to pay the price for sin, once and for all.

The church is where many people go to exercise their faith and worship God with other believers of a like mind. Church members seem to be so happy and joyous when in the company of other believers, strength and encouragement is experienced by many, simple being in the same place of those with a victorious testimony is enough to carry you through your next difficult time. What I have found and learned over the years is many of Gods people are hurting, hungry for answers and have many questions about their faith, their place of worship, relationships and thats just to name a few.

I’m reminded of the passage of scripture that states: “…the race is not given to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, But he that endures to the end.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11). The world ( of a good portion of it ) has their eyes on the people claiming they know the day ( but not the hour) that Jesus will return. That is amazing since the angels in heaven don’t know, Jesus himself doesn’t know, only the Father in heaven knows. I guess those armed with their tracks, bull horns are the “haves” and those who don’t know Christ are the “have nots”. One thing is for sure, their will be some Christians in a panic, on the 22nd of May. I’m sure they will turn on the news to see if mass numbers of people are reported missing, they will probably call their pastor (surely if he is still here, the rapture didn’t take place they will think). Many will probably show up for Sunday school and panic if the attendance is low and other will not know what to think.
The doom and gloom believers will be successful at one thing, causing a panic among the new or weak believers. Saying to yourself (that’s their fault, they should have studied, Gods Word), my response to you is: We that are strong, out to bear the infirmity of the weak…” Isn’t it amazing, all believers hope to inhabit the same heaven and we cant get along or agree on much, here on the earth. Being a strong saint Christian is not a guarantee of a seat in heaven, some start out and they never finish the race. This is an endurance race, the faith of every believer is under attack and scrutiny everyday.
Its impressive that engineers, christian scholars and devout believers will crunch the numbers, analyze the times and determine they have cracked the code, “We Know when Jesus Will Return!”. Maybe now is the time, you can share the simple Gospel message with people on how to be ready. Save to doom and gloom sensationalism for those who like to be entertained.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock…!” Revelations 3:20

Many Christians know church as, the place you go, to worship God. Traditional thinking has a way of making people believe, things done and practices followed over the years are biblical and required by God. Read more on Will I Go To Hell For Not Going To Church?…
