Remember Haiti?

Tragic news has a was of uniting people to help. Unfortunately, its a away for organizations to get some free advertising. Remember Haiti? Its not strange  how things and events can somewhat fade into obscurity.

To all of our readers, remember those in need of prayer when and while you pray. I know that the Country of Haiti could use tons of financial relief and medical help, if all those reading this post would pass this on to other believers to continue to pray for these people, I believe we will begin to hear good reports coming out of this country and people will once again remember Haiti.

The Church

Acts 2:42-47 “They (The Church) devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. “Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

The Weight Of Responsibility.

It doesn’t always feel good and this weight will can often leave your feeling lonely and unappreciated, but you are obviously strong enough to carry it and for some reason God has entrusted you with it. It may be teaching a Sunday school class or your Pastorate of the people God had trusted you with.  Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry, don’t let greed and the intoxicating effects of praise distract you. Preach the word, be instant in season and out of season, exhort and rebuke when necessary. Read more »

Disconnected

Timed out. Your session was disconnected because your login was idle for an extended period of time.

Aren’t you so glad that you do not get this message, because you did not pray? Some believers may give you the impression they say their prayer every night and then never forget an evening to pray. That may be true for some, but there are some people who simply did not pray before they went to bed. For what ever reason things in life will happen.

What I find truly a blessing is that you remembered that you did not pray.  SO, don’t be so hard on yourself, life is full of enough problems without creating more for yourself and allowing other to place a righteous guilt trip on you.  Pray throughout the day, pray every time you think about it, its possible to have a conversation with God throughout the day.

Luke 18:1

Relax, you haven’t been disconnected, God is still there.
