I believe it goes without saying, how powerful words are. Those in ministry who pride themselves as being spirit lead, are often the most careless when it comes to choosing the words they speak to others. If your words don’t encourage, edify and strengthen, it could be those aren’t the choice words that God would have you t use. It seems, those who use the Cross as a reason, to quickly condemn folks to hell and preach a message , that leaves the hearer to believe that God is really angry, is a messenger misrepresenting God. Should the masses be alarmed at a message of doom and eternal gloom? Or should they be reminded about the love of God that caused Him, to give His Son? The Church Of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C) was organized in 1907. The Church design of the church seal was created in 1973 and adopted in 1981, eight years later. I have a though in reference to the eight years that I will share later in this post. History always tells a story about who, what and why we are today.
C.O.G.I.C members are a proud group of people and in many cases pride will not allow you to see the truth or adjust when you need. Members of this great institution pride themselves on their standard of living. With Holiness and The Baptism of The Holy Ghost with the evidence of Speaking In Tongues being the hallmark and evidence of salvation in the church, I can only wonder where we are going wrong. Members will sit in the church and have a valid question about a practice or a something taught, but will look the other way instead of asking because they don’t want to appear to rock the boat. There is nothing wrong with asking questions, especially the tough ones, there in nothing wrong with wanting to know why.
Now, here is the twist, if we would study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needs not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth ( 2 Timothy 2:15 ), you would have your answer and you probably would not need to ask.

Announce that you will burn the Qu’ran in public. That’s what Pastor Terry Jones of Florida decided. Since Americans do not want a Mosque at ground zero in New York. How does this promote the love and compassion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? What example does this set for the rest of the world? I believe that any action on the part of a believer that does not promote or demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ, should be left alone.
