The fading of sincerity in churches.

Religion seems to have evolved into that ritual one does to appease God. I can recall the many conversation with believers (those in the church) who attend worship services out of a certain fear or sense of obligation. Could it be that our present time and advancements in today’s society prevent us from truly experiencing true loyalty and duty to the God we say we serve. Where is the service? Most believer they are serving God by singing in the choir, but when the singing is over, they feel relieved as if they met their quota of service. Read more »

It is, what it is! – When God does not show up in the worship service.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Light is what God is. God is also life. God is also love. These are not just attributes of God, but who He is. This may be difficult for us to understand but the Word of God says this is so. When God reveals Himself, its always in light, life, and love. When you experience God’s presence, its always uplifting, always edifying always full of light, it’s never the opposite. Remember Haiti?

Tragic news has a was of uniting people to help. Unfortunately, its a away for organizations to get some free advertising. Remember Haiti? Its not strange  how things and events can somewhat fade into obscurity.

To all of our readers, remember those in need of prayer when and while you pray. I know that the Country of Haiti could use tons of financial relief and medical help, if all those reading this post would pass this on to other believers to continue to pray for these people, I believe we will begin to hear good reports coming out of this country and people will once again remember Haiti.

Speaking In Tongues – The short version

I remember how puzzling it was to hear someone speak in another language in the church. When I was growing up,  I never really understood the reason why believers would seem to lose control when it came to speaking in tongues.

In many of today’s churches, those that speak in tongues, don’t quite understand it either, or at least it seems. Believers that do speak in tongues act as if its something uncontrollable, you cant stop when “it” starts and it can happen to you at any time. Wow, imaging that, your at work, attending a business meeting and BAM! the Holy Ghost decides that He wants to speak to you in another language! Read more »
