In this article we’re not talking about smoking, but if you thought about two like items, your pretty close. I remember a sermon preached by a Pastor entitled “Love, is what it does”, sounds catchy I thought, but I didn’t realize the meaning until years later; no I am not implying that I’ve mastered it, but I believe I understand what it is and what it is not.
Love; Isn’t it ironic we use the same word to define how we feel about a pair of shoes, or a favorite car, meal or other object? The word “Love” is tossed around as a filler to define something that is said to be so complex, yet it is a simple word…an action word, you can’t make it (love), it’s something you do, its not the physical act between two people involving simple mechanics, nor is it a term of endearment.
There is a passage of scripture, that says “…while we were yet sinners, Christ died for the un-godly”. Wow could this have been a demonstration of love, a word that was demonstrated by the actions of a loving God. Read more on Words that Match…

Partly different in form, nature or quality; not the same as; I guess that really defines me.
Webster also defines the word “Different” this way. In all of my experience in Christianity, I realized that I was different; there was mush that I did not understand and their were many of question that could not ( or should not) be asked in the church. Why not? That’s what I wanted to know.
When I was told that I had to “Tarry for the Holy Ghost”, I wondered why? or Whats that Mean, the deacons that defined Tarry did the word no justice at all. In my examination of the word I found the simple meaning, “to wait” My question was, why wait for something that I needed now? Why go into a room with other people and babel words incoherently until I stammer and then call that “receiving the Holy Ghost” because I spoke in an Unknown tongue”. Read more on Being Different…

I was starting to buckle under the penalty of my debt, there is no way I can pay this off and live! All the guilt, shame, and the knowing that there was no apparent way out was bothersome, this was one debt that I could not pay.
No thanks to my great grandfather (of many generations) I was born into this debt and my life was shaped this way, God was definitely not pleased with my grand fathers actions, nor was He with me in my present condition. Unlike banks and creditors God did something about the debit I owed, and I didn’t asking Him to, He saw my need and He responded first! The debt that would have literally cost me my life to pay ! He paid it for me!
My debt was sin, the penalty for it was death, but God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay it for me, even while I was in my debt (sin) He yet died for me. But it didn’t end there, He didn’t stay dead! According to the scripture He rose again, just as He said he would, and He is now seated at the right hand of God praying for me!
You too, have a debit that you can not afford to pay and yet live! You can become debit, and guilt free, by faith in Jesus Christ. Rejecting This Gospel Message is the very thing Jesus Christ wants you to Repent (change you mind) of, that is the sin debt, your unbelief.
Repent and Believe the gospel

When it comes to sin and hell most people think its the immorality that will cause your soul to be lost. It is said if you don’t go to church, you’ll go to hell, if you smoke, drink, curse or have sex before marriage you’ll go to hell.
Well that is only part of the truth! It’s not the sex, smoking, drinking or cursing that causes a man, women to be lost for an eternity !
Then what will? Simply rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour! Does this mean I can do what I want when I become a believer? God Forbid! No! Once we become alive to Christ, we become dead to sin. Paul said “How can we which are dead to sin, live any longer in it?”
