For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (Heb. 10:1)
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (Col. 2:17)

After a week of anticipation, it seems that Judgement Day has come and nearly gone. Its only 8:30 PM EST and I’m sure, perhaps maybe, church services will be packed out in the am. What will pastors preach about I wonder. For those who sold their possessions, left jobs and families, I guess they will start looking for employment come Monday morning. What will they say to their families and friends? Those who were on TV, convinced the end was here. Will they have any creditability when they talk with or among their friends? How about the founder of Family Radio? I’m sure you will hear nothing from him.
You really cant blame the 89 year old founder of Family Radio, its the fault of the believers that followed and believed in the founder. If a prophet makes a prophecy or a prediction and it fails to come to pass, he would then be called a false prophet. Since this is the second, false prediction of Harold Camping (Founder of Family Radio). Hopefully the day after (Sunday Morning) will be a day of healing for those who were fooled.
Many pictures have surfaced in the Internet, ridiculing the rapture. Monday could be a tough day for many believers. Atheist are applauding the no show of Judgement day, they say it strengthens their stand and makes them look good.
I think in the days to come, many other pictures will surface in the web. What will you do? From here on out, what will you do different? Will you jump at the sound of thunder? Will you panic if you call another believer on the phone and they don’t answer? Fear, anger and maybe a little anxiety will will be with many people over the next few days and the only thing that I believe will help you to overcome it is to get into the word of God and allow Him to Comfort you, that you may be able to comfort someone else. Something to meditate on:
2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” (St. Jn. 19:30) KJV
Recently I received a letter from a dear brother who shared with me a conversation between two believers discussing the relationship between faith and works.
One assumed the position that salvation is a free-gift by grace through faith; the other the position that obedience is an essential component and evidence of salvation.
Without trying to be critical or judgmental, I believe such discussions exist because many believers do not have an understanding or appreciation of what is commonly referred to in theology as, the finished work of the cross. Read more on Faith, Works, and the Finished Work of the Cross…
