Sin is on a never ending quest to destroy your life, when will you get fed-up and decide to do something about it? Please don’t wait until something Bad Happens, get a grip on sin and turn things around now. Lets look at how you can face this and discover ways to change.
There is something called the 7 Deadly Sins, this list covers the majority of temptations we are subject to in this world. What has happened is over time we have accepted these as a part of life, in short we’ve said it’s OK to act certain ways.
Even thought these ways hurt us and other people, we ignore that they are conceived from sin. Don’t think that sin only applies to religious people. In fact, sin hopes you don’t think it exists at all. This way it can slowly destroy your life and you will be blaming everything and everyone else while it continues on its destructive path.
If you don’t feel any remorse in what your doing, then there’s no change to make, but if you can’t stand the path your on, then you CAN change where your going.
Can you come to grips with the fact that sin exists? Are you embarrassed? Don’t be, what we want to face here is we admit we allowed some bad thoughts to take over our actions. The key word here is Allowed, you probably didn’t even know you were doing this, but you do now.
What should make you happy is knowing what you allowed to happen, you can un-allow it to continue.
We can’t change what we did, but we can change what we do. If you have to make apologies, do it. If you have to kneel down for forgiveness, do it. If you have to do this 50 times a day, do it. Because the alternative could really be a catastrophe in the making, maybe to the point you can’t say sorry.
